1. Dean controversy
Look at that top one:

Kerry 42%
Gephardt 42%
Edwards 39%
Lieberman 39%
Dean 38%

Dean is going to split the Democratic party! Four percent more people would definately vote for Kerry or Gephardt than him! It's going to completely destroy the party! That homewrecker! :eyes:

2. Actually...
Edited on Sat Jul-12-03 11:59 PM by w13rd0
...at least without taking into account statistical error, in which case they are all tied, Kerry and Gephardt tie for first, with Edwards and Lieberman tied for second, and Dean in third, at 40,39,and 38. Actually, it looks like Kerry actually pulls the most from the Bush column, thus reducing Bush support. Most of the others split the difference between taking a few from the middle and making a few undecided. All in all, it looks as if any of them could potentially take on Bush.

3. I'd actually believe...
...that he's behind all them right now, even if it might be a statistical tie, but that just means people have been led to believe he's a new McGovern and all that, which we'll have to work the next six months to overcome. I'm not that worried, but there is work to do.

5. Not bad
could be better but not bad. He is at best 53% and at worst 50%. This is with every possible advantage on earth. He is the known quantity, he has had fawning press, his opponents are unknowns. These will all change. It looks like any one of our candidates can with this.
