- Dropping cluster bombs on Iraqi villages filled with women and children: GOOD

- Funding education/health care for the poor: BAD

- Spending hundreds of billions of dollars on a "missile defense" system that can't work and might actually increase the chance of nuclear war: GOOD

- Paying workers enough so that they won't need food stamps to live: BAD

"In cases where there are serious doubts and questions, the presumption should be in favor of life."

Too bad you didn't follow these words before you lied about WMD's and bombed the shit out of a sovereign country. WE had serious doubts, WE had questions....how come YOU didn't err in favor of life Mr. Bush?

18. That story of the young woman with SMA losing Home Health Care
She has Spinal Muscular Atrophy and has home health care at about $20,000 a year on Medicaid. But because she is turning 21, she will be forced to move intot a nursing home at a much greater cost to the taxpayer, and she doesn't wish it because it limits her educational and work opportunities and chances to be with her family.
