Fox following van carrying Terri Schiavo like it was O.J.'s Bronco. SICK!
Edited on Thu Mar-31-05 12:00 PM by Cyrano
Someone here switched the TV to Fox News and there were helicopter shots of the white van taking her body to, I suppose, the coroner's office.

This country has become the sickest, most voyeuristic and disgusting society that I can remember in my lifetime. Thousands are dying with or without feeding tubes at this very moment. But these bugshit insane turds that have been harassing the hospice don't care about them. All they care about is their Jesus spouting, lunatic right-wing Republican agenda.

A banner at the bottom of the screen said that Bush will comment on her death shortly. How about the 1,500 plus American service people who died for nothing in Iraq. We don't see our "great leader" on TV talking about them.

Screw it. I'm going to try to hibernate for the next four years. Maybe I'll feel differently in a day or two, but right now, all I feel is the need to puke.

On edit: At least poor Terri Schiavo is finally at rest and far beyond the reach of the current insanity. Whatever comes after life, may she rest in peace.

1. What do you expect from these bottom-feeders, I suppose Sean Hannity
will be reporting live from the morgue for a week or so, with a circus of protesters surrounding him - these people have no shame.

4. I forgot to mention - maybe now that she has passed away those other
poor souls and their famalies who are trying to die in peace at the hospice can finally get some peace and quiet in their dying hours as those sick "culture of life" people will hopefully move on.

For an episode of CSI Florida...still need to get the bugs ironed out of the "Autopsy Cam" and the "Cremation Cam"

8. It must be a pool camera, because CNN, MS-RNC doing the same
I lived in the LA area at the time of the OJ mess, and when I saw this today, my first thought was that looks like OJ's white Bronco. I was also alive during the Kennedy assassination, and I will bet coverage of the Schiavo death will be similar to TV coverage then.

9. Wouldn't it be fun to take over Fox News?
Dress up in clown suits, rush in, tie everyone up, and take over the studio. Show Three Stooges flicks 24/7. On the other hand, their viewers might not notice the difference.

13. No, they just can't get enough comments from the fundies
The freaks.

Hey, look, sorry if I'm flaming anyone. I just think all this religious hoopla is a little too much. This reminds me of the parents fighting at their little kids sports matchs (take you pick, there's been many)!

11. They don't report news = they create and twist news into propaganda
for a few - against the many.

14. Blame the media
The small percentage of lunatic fundies are batshit insane. It's the media that gives them a LOUD voice.

Millions marched against this war which has killed so far hundreds of thousands of innocents and over 1500 American troops. But that gets a scroller mention while a small number of fringe psychos get 24/7.

I totally agree. This is all sick, sick voyeurism.

17. Let's get back to the really important news like Micheal Jackson
They did the same thing when Martha got out of prison. Then the next day I see these assholes from Fox criticizing all the fuss made about Marta Stewart in the Media.

20. An autopsy will show the deterioration
of her brain and therefore the media will give NO coverage to the results. You'll wait to hear and they won't tell.
