When Some Fundie Hurts Someone, the Media Needs to be Held Accountable
Seriously! I watched a few minutes of the coverage of the death of Terri Schiavo. Switched back and forth between CNN, MSNBC, and Faux. The inflamatory statements, calling it a "killing", a "murder", etc. without any other point of view. Leave it to Faux. They had some "radio talk show host", not sure where he was from, but he actually said that he was hearing from his listeners that this case reminded him of the beginning of the "Nazi" regime.

If someone is hurt, all these bastard news organizations need to be sued and "hung up by their Buster Browns". It would be like watching a fire and then throwing gasoline on it.

They must be held accountable. This rediculous farce that we call "cable news", must be smacked down. Someone is going to get killed.

1. Sadly, they will not be held accountable.
America hasn't yet caught on that inciting violence through hateful rhetoric is tantamount to handing a gun to a nutcase.

3. But They Must Be
They are fanning the flames of hate in this case. Reminds me of that song that goes, "Bubble-headed Bleach Blonde Comes on at five. She can tell you about the plane crash with a gleam in her eye".

They need to be hit where it hurts them the most. In the wallet. If soemone is hurt, and they can trace it to some whack-job being given a forum on TV, then the media needs to answer for it. Sorry grave-robbing bastards!

2. This whole thing could get so ugly, so fast...
I hope everyone is preparing for the eruption of Mount Stupid, cause it's coming.

4. Good point there
Everybody remembers Jenny Jones, right? Wouldn't this scenario be somewhat similar? Not entirely, but somewhat.

5. Sean Hannity in particular -- the fact that he has been reporting live . .
from the hospice all week is disguising on so many levels. He has done nothing but feed the fires of the circus that has unfolded and these crazy so-called "culture of life" people. Can you imagine if you had a loved one dying in that hospice - do you have no shame Sean?
