I missed most of it and don't know exactly what the bill is on Gov. Bill Owens desk. I did catch how Christie Todd Whitman leaving recorded messages urging Colorado voters to ask Owens to sign it. Anybody know what it's about?

1. I heard a newsbit on AAR...apparently, Owen is a Catholic and
he's agonizing over rape victims being allowed to get info about the "morning after pill" to prevent pregnancy!

What is his problem? All women aren't Catholic (and a lot of Catholic women don't even subscribe to Catholic teachings on this). So sign the friggin bill and if you're a Catholic rape victim, decide for yourself.

3. Story related to this at mediamatters.org, about pharmacists denying
prescriptions because of their religious beliefs; major lies told to patients by pharmacists, telling patient 'drug not available at this time'
fucking radical clerics in this country are worse than the taliban

5. Thanks everybody.
I can't believe that in 2005 we are even discussing this. What kind of country is it that is not sure whether rape victims should be allowed access to the Morning After Pill?

Everyday, I am more and more embarrassed to be an American.
