Sean Hannity, the talking-point spouting mouthpiece on Fox News' Hannity & Colmes was recently caught by Harry Shearer slamming a Democratic congressman as an "asshole" when Hannity didn't realize he was being recorded.

Strangely, Hannity is constantly decrying the lack of civility from Democrats, but in the recording goes on to say "I hate these people".

Hannity is a nobody who plays to his own little audience of true-believers. He'd be completely insignificant if Democrats didn't give him credibility by appearing on his shows. His audience is comprised entirely of radical nutjobs; no one who listens to him is ever going to consider a Democrat's political position, yet Democrats seem to feel the need to appear on his shows and subject themselves to his abuse. Any non-GOP-sycophant that agrees to be interviewed by him deserves to be called an asshole.

it was an appalling experience ... actually, it was quite painful to watch.

This 'Hannity' cretin about whom I've read so much seems to be nothing more than a rude, obnoxious bully, and I hold out no hope for any unsophisticated viewers who believe that boor to be a genuine newscaster.

I've made it PARTLY thru a few shows. But I was just too tempted to Do An Elvis on my TV set...between Hannity's bullying and "talking over" the guests, and Colmes sitting there like a frightened puppy about to wet himself.

I call that show "Handjob & Coma."

Believe it or not, those things that are allegedly "books" by Hannity are even worse than the show. I only pick them up in the bookstore to bury them under Hillary Clinton's bio or something similar. But good grief! Sheer drivel, obviously ghost-written directly from Hannity tapes.

I didn't think it was possible to hate Hannity any more than I already did, but Jim Moran (D-VA) has been my Congressman since 1991 and has done an excellent job. His constituents of the 8th district (home of the Pentagon) rewarded him with 60% of the vote in 2004. Hannity says, "I hate these people, you have no idea." Well maybe he would like tell me and the other 171,985 people that voted for Moran to our faces. FUCKING COWARD! It's a good thing the shout-match was via satelite, otherwise Hannity would have gotten his nose broken.
