This is really interesting profile of a complex man. It's been out a couple weeks so no snide comments if you've already read it, please.:)

Greer was a college roommate of Jim Morrison and the article covers that period pretty well.

Regarding the Schiavo case:
Greer said he is sometimes baffled by the more hateful criticism. He said his faith has not been shaken.

"What's so exasperating is that my faith is based on forgiveness because that's what God did," Greer said. "When I see people in my faith being extremely judgmental, it's very disconcerting."

in case you ain't noticed...THAT'S WHAT THEY DO! blacks, poor, single parents, gay, alien, etc etc etc. THAT'S WHAT THEY DO!
