in honor of, this day. i just clearly said to boys, after such trauma and fun hunting eggs, eating jelly beans (i had some, not a fun experience so early in morning), bunnys and choco and hard boiled eggs for breakfast; there really is a fun and happy jesus
i personally think youngest should get beyond easter bunny, but ed still trips on hiding the eggs.
for the story: i told all to put jeans on, socks and shoes, we were going to church. the drama and trauma of such a suggestion, me in sweatpants and sweater and slippers, thinking boys would say huh and figure it out. not a chance in hell, they were no no no
edmund: i dont want to be told i am going to hell. that is all they say..........
i havent talked religion since getting out of fundie place, feeling we needed a breather from religion, be free
i am purposely not letting go of religion, as we didnt let go of the easter bunny today
and i have only told jonas so many times, daddy is the easter bunny (picking out all the black jelly beans, none left for us), yet still he refuses to see. really all very interesting
80% said religion needed to stay out of government. that is a lot of energy. 80% said they would not join the minority of 20% a small group that throws tantrums and behave so poorly in the name of the lord
religion is here. it is what we do with it
personally i will go back to honoring the resurrection instead of glorify in such non dignity the crucifixion
anyway, just playing with thought all the way around
