PHOTOS: Omaha, Nebraska STANDS UP for PEACE "The Bridge of Peace"
Edited on Sun Mar-27-05 11:05 AM by diamond14

Omaha, Nebraska STOOD UP HIGH for Peace, on March 19, 2005

The Pro-Peace rally took place at the Pedestrian bridge that crosses Dodge Street in Omaha (the main drag). This is the site of many Wednesday night Candle Light Peace Vigils, since before the war began.

It is sponsored by the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) and Peace activists involved in Nebraskans for Peace and The Peoples Film Festival.

The crosses say: Forgive U.S.

THANK YOU, Omaha !

the PEACE Dove

2. Cool pix, thanks.
I tease my friends from Omaha that EVERYTHING is off Dodge. It's true, though.

8. I like the pictures
My favorite's was the guy with the tshirt with the flag that says: "think: it's patriotic." and the girl with the poster that said "and you thought Bush was prolife." LOL! Smooth. ;)
