Ode to Hugo Chavez
Could any of you check this page out, and see if there's anything inherantly wrong with it? Punctuation errors and what-not? Is the subject matter appropriate, given the rhetoric of Condi et al? Could I be looked at as being unpatriotic? Any factual inconsistancies? It's a quick read

http://www.hereinreality.com/hugo_chavez/

I'm halfway paranoid about putting this site live on my page.

Gracias in advance.

1. It's all about this virus thing...
that evil socialism (funny how it's Most evil south of the equator and brownish people aren't allowed it), where The People can benefit from their own resources and not the Whoreporations of the world.

2. Is "Fun With Dubya"
your site? If it is, you needn't worry about looking unAmerican, the Repubs already think you are. LOL

Go for it, it's pretty cool!

In case you're interested, there's a piece I wrote on Chavez here:

17. "Murray B. Levin, Friendly Fascism"
Isn't "Friendly Fascism" written by Betrand Gross? (A very good book, btw.)

18. It's a quote by Levin that Gross used in his book.
Edited on Tue Mar-29-05 01:38 AM by kaitykaity
I wasn't sure how to do that.

Good quote though, huh?

21. Yes, Bertram
Bertrand -- isn't that some kind of luxury boat?? Anyway, good book (prescient, published around 1980, and amongst the "must reads" for a better understanding of our times).

(My bookshelf, where the orange covered book sits, is 1,200 miles north right now while I sit in a hospice room with family -- pardon my lack of checking names beforehand...)

A distraction. I'm happy to provide a small one.

:hi:

Yeah, I don't buy books much anymore -- if I bought
books like I used to I'd have room for nothing else
in my house. The library is my best friend.

But that book I simply had to have. Most people I
introduce it to (there's a web site out there that has
copious excerpts that I use) are always shocked that it
was written in 1980.

I'm sorry for your soon loss. (I've gotten quite
an education about what being in hospice means
lately.)

10. cool...
It's not there. I'm a fledgling. Feel free to link, and I'll make a reciprocal from mine.

I've upset the Repubs, so I must be 'somebody' now.
I had a news feed, "The Washington File" on the index page, and stopped by to see it was missing. I guess my site's too 'left' for them. HAHAHA

4. I liked your post..Thanks..This touched on very important subjects ie..
rich countries vs developing countries, rich vs poor within countries, 'whoreporations', political exploitation, etc.. These are all appropriate and need lots of further discussion. Unpatriotic? Not in my book..My idea of patriotic is making our land safer and more free via non-violent means..To me that makes Bushies 'unpatriotic' and not us..Have a great day!
