quit being scared every time Bush gets a minor boost in the polls
every time Bush gets a 2 point or so bump, people act afraid and are worried he's on the rebound, I see this today with him going 2 points up in the ABC/Washington Post poll.

2 points is within the margin of error for almost every poll. So there's a very good chance Bush didn't go anywhere, and could very well of went down.

and as some theorized here, the 9/11 aniversary might give Bush a samll boost. The latest poll included 9/11 in it's span, so that might explain it. But if it's only a 2 point boost, it'll mean nothing in a month, much less in a year.

1. And the Post polls are ALWAYS around 5 points higher
than others. So he's really in the low 50s, as the majority of polls shows. I agree it's nothing to worry about. The Newsweek poll done at the same time has him at just 52 percent.

2. We can't stand him and don't understand the support for him,
that's why it bothers us so much. But you're right and we have to work to get his approval rating into the low 40s by next summer.

3. Something else that annoys me...
Is the comparison to Reagan and Clinton and their approval numbers at this same point in their respective terms.

Neither Clinton nor Reagan had experienced and squandered 80-90% approval ratings and whittled it down to nearly 1/2 or less of the voting population.

4. small boosts don't mean a thing
In the remaining time to the 04 election there is absolutely nothing that this moron* can do to improve his numbers. In fact I see a steady decline, with more and more people waking up and seeing this piece of shit* and his misadministration for what they really are daily.

There is nothing that's going to revive this economy, interests rates are going up, the housing market is going to go bust along with the refinance industry.

The war isn't going well and is going to be a drag on the economy as more resources will be sucked into the quagmire, and the killed and wounded numbers mount.

If I was the moron* and capable of cognent thought I'd be shitting my pants. Especially after this christmas season bombs.

5. Bush's popularity is on a long slide
that can only be arrested by a new war. Expect a new war.

7. I honestly don't think another war would help
they are having enough problems with this war. Starting another war now would re-open a lot of critisism about the wmd lies, the way they planned this one, etc. Our troops are stretched thin, military families are very unhappy with bush, his support is going down among them. I think starting another war would hurt bush.

The only exception is if N. Korea attacks us.
