- Drilling in the Alaska National Wildlife Refuge
- Changes in regulations to allow coal plants to emit more mercury (which has been linked to dramatically increased autism rates in children)
- Tens of thousands of innocent Iraqi civilians dead
- Over 1500 American soldiers dead and tens of thousands wounded, many for life
- Torture authorized by our own federal government
- Thousands of people being imprisoned by our government, without charge
- BushCo continuing to produce propaganda using taxpayer money
- Unqualified male escort getting a free pass to play "Pretend Reporter" in the White House press room for over two years
- Repugs threatening to kill the filibuster
- No arrests yet in the old anthrax case
- No arrests or information yet on the Valerie Plame outing
- Tom Delay as a personal "ethics free zone"
- A series of stolen/rigged US elections
- Trillion-dollar deficits as far as the eye can see
- Blatant attempts to dismantle the wall between Church and State
- Attempts to enshrine discrimination in the Constitution, in the form of an amendment banning same-sex marriage (and all legal incidents thereof)

And that's a few off the top of my head.
