Two groups claim Texas blast, FBI sees no foul play
DUBAI, March 24 (Reuters) - Two Islamist groups have said they caused Wednesday's explosion at a Texas oil refinery which killed 15 people but the U.S. FBI said there was no evidence of "any criminal or terrorist activity".
An unknown group, calling itself al Qaeda Organisation for Holy War in the United States of America, said it would issue a detailed statement and video of the attack later. The statement was posted on the Internet on Thursday.

1. Yeah, its gonna take a few days/weeks
to doctor up a tape enough to pass for legitimate.

***LIE WARNING DETECTOR ACTIVATED!***: I smell a big conspiracy forming on this one. Just in time to take some heat off from the Schiavo debacle.

2. Stop filling the site with mindless "news. now get back to Terri..DUH.
I am surprised this is not all over the news. this is truly scary. if they have a video of the blast then we need to shift our insane focus off of a family matter onto real news that affects all of us. Mr. Bush are you out there????

3. Did Homeland Security put any protections in place for this facility?
One of the criticisms of DHS is that it did not put money into protecting probable domestic targets, like chemical plants or this oil facility. So what do they have to say to prove this was an accident, and couldn't have been sabotage?

4. Wow. That was my first thought yesterday when early reports said they
didn't know the cause.

Has the FBI released an official cause yet?

7. No way! We gave Stupidhead a man date
Because he said there wouldn't be any more terrorist attacks ever if he was returned to office!

Although his supporters DID say that if I voted for John Kerry, I could expect another terrorist attack. It's probably my fault. Sorry, everyone.

10. Didn't the same thing happen after last year's explosion?
Unknown group claims credit. Authorities dismiss it.

But the seed has been planted.

11. Bushco has almost dismantled OSHA so an accident
due to poor safety regs wouldn't be that unusual.

12. Waiting for evidence?
How much evidence was there before they incarcerated Jose Padilla? How much evidence on many of the immigrants?

...FBI said there was no evidence of "any criminal or terrorist activity"...

Has there been a change in policy regarding evidence? Also, they haven't had much time to look for evidence. I wonder how these quick conclusions are drawn.
