Should Neurologist's License Be Pulled & Ousted from Mayo Clinic??
The AMA should launch an investigation into this so-called neurologist who is willing to lie his ass off in the Shiavo case. What kind of message, also, does it send about the Mayo Clinic where he is employed----the Clinic should be called on it!!! There is no place in medicine for a doctor to interject his religious beliefs in place of the facts. For him to perform no tests and yet sign an official statement to the court reversing the findings of numerous doctors, should be cause for review by the AMA. I wonder what the insurance companies think of 'religious diagnosis' (talk about 'alternative medicine' which they abhor). This shouldn't be overlooked. The AMA and the Mayo Clinic should be put under pressure to remove this guy from the medical community. It's time for these criminals with a cross around their necks to start paying the price for their deceit. Unfortunately because no one ever calls these facists on their actions, they just get bolder and more aggressive.

1. They should be pulling licenses left and right...
for each and every doctor (in Congress and otherwise) who has made authoritative diagnoses based on a select few minutes of videotape.

2. If the AMA actually cared about Patient Care
Rather than fattening their wallets, that would be a good idea.

The appropriate place to lodge a complaint against this quack would the state medical board in Florida.

3. I only know that I wouldn't be comfortable with him as my doctor
or as the doctor of any friends or family.

He has allowed his religious beliefs to trump his scientific knowledge.

4. Which one?
You'll have to provide a link or something to jog our minds on the details. Several neurologists and other physicians have given their opinions; it's also possible for physicians to disagree without one or each being a liar.

6. William P. Cheshire Jr., MD
He's a licensed neurologist at the Mayo Clinic in Florida. Jebbie called him in yesterday to 'reevealuate' Terri Schiavo. He did not examine her but claimed she had been misdiagnosed.

5. Absolutely
I've started drafting a letter to the Florida Medical Board requesting his actions be investigated. He is a fundie - his religion takes precedence over medical ethics unfortunately.

7. If Bill Frist can diagnose something this severe by just looking at 7 min
of tape (that the parents picked), then why cant this clown???

This guy should be removed on ethical violations. he is a vile piece of crap. Just think of all the emotional damage this assclown is doing to the parents. he is giving them hope, where there is NONE. there has never been ANYONE who has grown a new brain from the spinal fluid that is currently filling the VOID. These parents are listening to this IDIOT and others like the nurse that said Terri helped with the counter when it got busy and she had conversations with her.
These people make me SICK

8. If any loved one of mine had been a patient of this guy, I would
be writing to the Mayo Clinic and insisting on a review of the case and threatening to sue Mayo up the ass. Like I said, it's time to make these people accountable----maybe if Dr. "I can be hired by Jeb to push his plolical agenda" is thrown out of the medical business, other's might think twice before they kiss their paycheck goodbye!!!!!

9. If the freepers can petition to have Judge Greer removed from the
bench, then we should be petitioning Mayo Clinic to drop this guy like a hot potato!
