Harken steak fry-questions
Is it true Kerry, Gebhardt, and Edwards were there before Clinton, but left before he got there? If so, why? Are they part of that group that is afraid to campaign with Clinton? Please advise.

1. Hmmmm, interesting question
The impression I got was that they had to get places and catch planes. But, this is a thought.

2.  BC was to speak approximately a half hour after the last speaker.
Dick Gephardt spoke earlier than everyone else and also wasn't introduced with the rest of the candidates.

Kerry praised the accomplishments of Clinton many times in his speech, but left after a meet and greet with the crowd.

I would chalk it up as a matter of the scheduling committments of each of the candidates.

I was there, Gephardt left before all the others spoke, he had other commitments. Edwards and Kerry left after the candidates spoke and before Clinton spoke because they had other places to go.
It was great, pretty rainy, a lot muddy but still a good turnout and lots of good speeches.

4. At the University of Buffalo in 2001 or early 2002, Clinton was asked
who he's looking at for 2004. He wouldn't name names but he said that there was a young southern senator who reminded him a lot of himself.
