WTF! Bush* is going to speak at the "irrelevant" U.N next week?

Boy, he's one arrogant SOB. He's actually going to try to twist some arms (and a few legs) to get them to bail him out - and on his terms, no less.

One year ago, this Smirking Chimp came to the U.N and promised to let Hans Blix and his inspectors do their job. At the same time, he got those Congressional Tutus on the Front Lawn of the WH to back him in his unilateral War, promising he would act only within the U.N. resolution.

This jerk has some large cujones and a small brain.

Will he be jeered off the podium this time?

If a new resolution is not agreed during further talks in New York this week, George Bush and Tony Blair can expect a month of public humiliation over the Iraq crisis. Washington and London had hoped the meeting of the veto-wielding members of the council would begin to draw the UN into the task of reconstructing Iraq. Instead, it produced a virtual replay of the pre-war rift.

President Bush is to address the UN General Assembly in nine days, where a majority can be expected to be loud and vocal in their opposition. Despite yesterday's failure, Mr Powell put the best gloss on the talks, saying he was encouraged, while adding: "Of course, there are differences of opinion on certain aspects."

4. Maybe not.
He will be greeted by silence. Lots of it. Plenty of mouths will have the corners turning up, ever so slightly. Then, they will push the corners down. After all, they have manners.

They will nod in approval, and yes we should all help each other the world is at stake bla bla bla. And then they will proceed to do

nothing. I still believe they all called each other on the phone, behind Bush's back. They seem to all have agreed to play the waiting game.

Maybe they know something the rest of us don't! That's an intriguing thought.

5. This is what I would like to see:
I would like to see them all stand up and flip him the bird. And I would really like to see the Ambassadors from Old Europe and all the chocolate making countries moon him.

7. Apparently, Rover dropped the "standing ovation" requirement
for the royal appearances. These are polite people, but I'd LOVE for them to give him the "slow clap" like they do in the Old Country. Commander Codpiece wouldn't even know he was being insulted even as he was being applauded...

8. I want to video tape that
THat is going to be worth watching! I wonder if there are going to be any people outright laughing at him? I know I would if I was on the Security COuncil after the BS he pulled in the march to war. Anyone know if it is going to be televised? If so when, cause I want to tape it and see him make an ass of himself in front of the UN.
