This doctor was not nominated for the Noble Prize!
So, how come the mouth-pieces on the right constantly repeat it over and over that this doctor was as close to receiving a Noble Prize as I am. Plus, they continue to get away with it? Al Franken called Scarborough on it, and he tried to through Al a curve ball.

3. That's part of the game
All the little banty roosters try to puff each other up and convince us they're really eagles.

We have to keep calling them on it in real life, whenever the subject comes up. They're NOTHING. The emperors have no clothes, none of them.

4. Tim, I'm nominating you for a Nobel Prize!
Put it in your resume. Your check is good, right? Speaking of that, do you think there's any connection between a possible campaign contribution and a Nobel Prize nomination?

8. Representative Michael Bilirakis nominated him for it
Apparently anyone can be nominated for the Nobel Prize--in medicine there are something like 3000 authorized nominators, and they can pick Owsley Stanley (who perfected the mass production of LSD in 1964) if they want.

Being nominated doesn't necessarily mean you'll be named the laureate for the year. How many times have they nominated George W. Bush for the Peace Prize? His only value to the peace movement is as an example of what not to do.

10. You mean I'm not next in line to be the Pope!
*Yow*... That email said I was!

All I had to do was send in all my personal financial
information and I was a shoo-in!

Awe, heck... Now I've got to return my hat and
vestments to Wal-mart.

;)

Fox News host Sean Hannity and MSNBC host Joe Scarborough both promoted Dr. William Hammesfahr's false claim that he is a Nobel Prize nominee.

Hammesfahr, a Florida neurologist disciplined in 2003 by the Florida Board of Medicine who claims he can help Terri Schiavo, testified during an October 2002 court hearing on the Schiavo case that his claim to be a Nobel nominee is based on a letter written by Rep. Mike Bilirakis (R-FL) recommending him for the prize. But Bilirakis is not qualified to make a valid nomination under the Nobel rules.

12. So was Bono
That doesn't mean much to them. Jimmy Carter actually won the Nobel Prize, that doesn't mean much to them either. I thought they didn't think much of these intellectual elites.
