And we wonder why the price of gas has gone up here ?? The country with the world's 2nd largest oil reserves are importing gas? Of course, the people pay .05 cents per gallon so there's no incentive to save. The "black marketeers" sell it for a $1.00 plus in Jordan and other places. So who's really paying for this war in Iraq??

in accounting, all kinds of rumors fly.

I believe I have read that the vast majority of the Arabs believe that the revenues derived from the lesser amount of oil (compared even to when they were under sanctions) exported by the Iraqis is being transferred directly to Israeli banks.

It must not be going to Uncle Sam or they wouldn't ask for a new $80 billion every six months to a year.
