Why does the husband have to "prove" anything? It is his decision in the first place. The parents should prove that Terri wanted to be kept alive. They didn't do it. This case has resolved itself appropriately, and the public needs to stay the fuck out of it.

These facts are not in dispute.... Nobody has denied Terri Schiavo is a Catholic and nobody has denied the Catholic Church opposes the removal of a breathing tube in this situation...


Given this burden imho it would take an advance directive or living will by Ms. Schiavo to overcome this burden not the hearsay testimony of a litigant and his siblings...

I know of no one who would want to live in the state Terri is in. I am convinced her husband tried everything in his power to help her before making the decision to let her die.
