Edited on Thu Mar-24-05 11:13 AM by Jack_Dawson
Yes - They really care

No - They are pushing their agenda

86%: Pushing their agenda. Ouch.

1. Who do they think they're foolin'?
Not many people, apparently....for once, the American Public has a clue about the scum that has overtaken this country and their actual agenda.

2. Interesting- but you know, if the situation were reversed,
the question would be "Do Democratic politicians really care?".

It's funny how far Republicans can push, and when there is criticism, it's against "politicians" in general, not the Republicans in particular- who have created this mess by pandering to religious zealots.

8. Here is my response to their solicitation of opinions on the question...
A more appropriate question would be "do Republicans actually give a hoot about Terri Schiavo?" (Please read on!)

The reason I am saying that is: it is not the Democrats or the Independents who always trump up marginal issues that are not relevant to most people ("death taxes"), or emotional issues that have to be decided by individuals or family members ("pro-life"), to be their public crusades (I am using that word advisedly and deliberately) while privately (in Congress!) they are passing dead-of-the-night bills that benefit the few, often at the expense of the many -- needless to say, they themselves often are in that favored few.

Wake up, the Republicans in power and the Democrats in power are not alike -- treating them as if they are is a great disservice to our nation -- if you want to be truly patriotic, question those in power and look into what they are actually doing, versus what they are saying.

As Dean says, you have the power!

Regards,
Radha
