Sibel Edmonds filed a new lawsuit.

It has been revealed that the DoJ covered up FBI torture concerns at Gitmo.

There are plenty of other important legal and civil rights issues that are also important at this time.

I don't think the OP was calling for censorship, just pointing out a certain 'tunnel-vision' that has developed around the Shiavo story.
I have no problem with the Shiavo discussions, but I think it is important to keep an awareness during stories like this of what might be flying below the radar.
