AHNold wants McClintock to drop out?? So HE CAN WIN??
Edited on Sat Sep-13-03 10:47 PM by opihimoimoi
How Revealing this selfishness, this audacity, this NERVE, and as the Chinese like to say, the chutzpah.

Arnold reveals the PUB mind set, win by plotting, not by what is RIGHT.

If Arnold wants the Pubs to win so much, how about showing some class and let McClintoc win??? All Arnold has to do is drop out HIMSELF.

WILL HE DO IT?? Will Arnold show some class and drop out giving McClintoc better odds??

Those Pubs are all in a dither and flummoxed. They started this shit figuring an easy victory for the Terminator. And, like Bagdad, something went arwy with the plans.

Oh well, get your drinks and popcorn, we go watch this funny story unfold.

1. With repukes, it's always "me me me"
That's why they will ultimately destroy themselves.

Unfortunately, they've recognized that for decades which is why their policies try to harm or kill everybody else in their attempt to make their own lives better.

Remember, Republicans did give us Abe Lincoln and overtime pay, the latter I find to be quite amazing (heard it on the radio, but I'll accept it at face value for the time being). What the fuck happened since then, apart from Nixon, Reagan, and a couple of Bushies?

14. Overtime pay-- mandated by Fair Labor Standards Act of 1938
This New Deal legislation mandated that overtime pay of 1 1/2 times regular wages was to be paid to "nonexempt" workers for each hour over 40 hours they worked in a week.

2. It's kind of telling
that all the rabid conservatives in CA aren't asking Ah-nold to drop out so McClintock can run unopposed.

McClintock says he's in it to the finish but when the pets start disappearing...

5. Its so IRONIC..... Arnold was swayed into this because they thought
"easy win".

Now, it seems, he is IN THE FUCKING WAY, His speeches are so UNCONVINCING and INSINCERE its so obvious, and the victory they thought was easy is now in doubt.

Heads will roll on this one.

3. As a Liberal.....
I must say that Tom McClintock should be given credit for standing on principle and may just beat out Arnie the Cry Baby.

Democrats could learn something from Mr. McClintock about principle!
We should be appealing to the liberal/progressive base of our party, because some of us are not doing so, a.k.a Holy Joe Lieberman!

I DO NOT endorse Mr. McClintock in any way but at least he has an understanding of how government works, experience, and will tell us where he stands so that the voters will know what they get when they vote! The same must be said for Cruz Bustamante and Arrianna Huffington!!! It would be a travesty if this bumbling monkey (Arnold) becomes governor of California!

4. you know, i agree!
I don't respect McClintock at all for his positions on issues, but compared to Arnold "I will lead the people - but don't ask me how" he at least has some integrity.

They're both going to LOSE and I just hope we get to see Issa crying on TV again!

6. You Know....
I DO NOT agree with McClintock on his views but you've got to admire him for standing on his principles! He's a conservative but not a racist or anything like Buchannan!

9. I agree
I just think he will have a whole lot of pressure put on him by the Repugs in CA to drop out. For all their yammering about values and principals they are willing to embrace a guy who is a social liberal, who did group sex and has nekkid pics flying around the Internet. How much of that would they be willing to tolerate from a Dem irregardless of how old some of the stuff is? Look at what they did to Clinton about a coupld of blow jobs and some of those same CA Repugs are stumping for Ah-nold.

I can't see how Ahnold will help CA in any way.

11. Well, if they REALLY want to do this
Why should we stop them? It is so much easier to let them shoot themselves in the foot. If they do this right, the Cali GOP will be long dead by '04.

12. Something about that accent.......that voice
presuming to run for public office in the USA just brings out the NAZI in me and puts me in mind of an old B grade movie of WW II starring Ronnie Raygun. It's surreal.

15. LOL!!
I see it as less as an old B grade movie of WW II.

If Arnold gets to be governor, I can see the photo oops now in my mind eye of junior and the star idiot with AK-47's on top of a hummer going into Iran.

13. When will dirt on McClintock arise??
Will the rethugs desire to win come to the point of feeding McClintock to dogs with some BS about him. Maybe they'll pull a page from Rove and do some push polling?
How bad do they want Cali?
Shit, I wouldn't be suprised to see McClintock's small plane go down under "mysterious circumstances."

18. It's the Classic Ahnuld Psych-Out
Ever seen "Pumping Iron"? It's the documentary about the run up to the Mr. Universe contest sometime in the late 70s. In the movie, Ahnuld talks about how he psychs out the competition to get them to lose, and proceeds to do exactly that to Lou Ferrigno. It's all a big mind-fuck for him, and he enjoys it.

He refuses to step aside revealing his selfishness.

McClintock, the better of the two, has more principle than Terminator would ever have.
