dreading terri's death
If we think the news coverage is bad now...

Imagine how it'll be when Terri actually dies?

Her funeral will probably get as much coverage as Princess Diana's...

I wonder if the Bushies will attend?

1. count on it
"I wonder if the Bushies will attend?"

Bush can't be bothered to attend a single funeral of a soldier killed in his little war. But he'll be all over this.

2. they would be the types to politicalize such a private
and sad affair. Though I honestly think this is backfiring on the GOP.

4. Well, guess who is responsible for her funeral plans?
That's right, Michael Shiavo.

He can choose to do whatever he wants.

can see she is a veg.

After she dies, it's martyr city, baby! There will be stories about her walking, talking, dancing, laughing, playing checkers, praying, yadda yadda......

8. I assume Michael will have a private funeral and have her cremated
It's up to him to keep it low key. Since he seems to be the only reasonable character in this whole thing, I trust he'll do what's right.

19. No matter what her husband tries to do
you can bet that her parents, siblings and their handlers will do their best to make a circus out of it and then blame Michael for it.

20. It wouldn't be the first time in-laws and a spouse had separate services.
hell, a co-worker just went through very similar crap a few weeks ago.

Anyone can hold a memorial service.

You can bet there'll be services held for her at THOUSANDS of fundamentalist-denomination churchs following her passing.

9. The media might be torn...
it looks like the Pope isn't doing well either. Which to cover....hmmm....cover the Pope or cover the 'martyr'....tough choice. My bet is they will wait for the Rove order before deciding which will benefit the repubs more.

if they did reinsert the tube and keep her alive that she'd become a celebrity.

14. I hope she doesn't die on Good Friday
the fundies will have a field day with that! I have also wondered how the funeral will go in light of all the family animosity towards Michael. What a hideous circus this has become.

18. Hello butchcjg! You know that JEB will be there!
The whole thing is a real circus. I feel sooo sorry for her and her family. They are being used as a political pawn. Ugh! Nice bumping into you, butchcjg!

Peace!

will show up after death pretending to be great mourners.

23. Maybe her "husband" can have...
a joint "Terri's funeral"/"Michael's wedding"...but then again, I look for him to wait a few months for the media attention to go away and then we will see it scrolled on the bottom of the cable channel that he got married.
The guy lost his right to the "marital sanctity" defense the minute he moved in w/ and knocked up <twice> the woman he is w/ now.

Read up on them.
