The Future Of News Media?
sorry if this is old news, but I just saw it for the first time, and think it ought to be shared.

Play through to the end for a prediction on how news reporting might evolve, based on current trends and technology...

1. decisions, decisions, decisions....
we'll have to first decide if the
"newscaster" has any personal bias in
the "news story", then decide if this
"news story" is being paid for by any
advertiser and then if not, is it
real "news" or just fake and if it
is, who is behind it and what is their
motivation. Then decide why it was
aired when it was aired....

no wonder people have turned off.
It's hard work being spun.

3. It's worth considering
That's in a way why the Conservative critique of the news is so conveneient. It doesn't require more thought, it requires less thought. If a story does not reflect what you already believe than it is a false story, created to decieve you. If a story does reflect what you believe than it is a true story. Simple as that.

Running 24/7, on a steady diet of personalized propaganda?

Fucking scary.
