A group of protestors are being targeted for extra surveillance by the Brevard County sheriff's office. I attended the press conference and was hopeful when I saw that all local MSM affiliates sent camera trucks for coverage. I watched the coverage this morning that I'd taped last night. AGGGHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!! The editing was such that very little of substance on the part of the ACLU and affected people was presented. The most eloquent speaker, the organizer of the protest, wasn't even shown. The sherriff's response was given last word despite a rebuttal by the ACLU which was issued in plenty of time for the news to include it. So basically the impression a disinterested news watcher would get would be, "Oh I'm so greatful the sherriff's office is on top of such things."
