Bush did not err on the side of life when enf. the death penalty in Texas
He and his henchman Gonzales played fast and loose with the appeals process and made sure virtually all appeals were denied.

2. I saw a repeat of Larry King last night
And there was a Reverend on talking about Right to Life and that God is the one to give life and take life away. Larry King said "So you're against the death penalty?" "Uggh, no, in the Bible God give us the right." :wtf:

3. So if he goes against that
then how does he know God isn't taking Terri? He's playing god with Terri Schavio and the bill in 99 and what happens there with Texas.

5. Yeah, well, he wasn't really making sense.
Terri couldn't have her feeding tube pulled, but the death penalty's okay?

And yeah, I didn't know about that law until Sun Hudson was in the paper about, maybe a month ago. But when Sun died a week ago, it clicked that I had heard about it.

So much for the sanctity of life...but then I'm living in the capital punishment epicenter.

4. Good point. More hypocrisy from the GOP
Why can't the simpletons see the hypocrisy in the republican agenda. Pro-life, pro-war, pro-death penalty, pro-gun. You don't need a degree in advanced calculus to see that things just do not add up.
