So, How Much does Regular Unleaded Gas Cost where you live?
Just curious, because I heard on the Radio that Gas is $2.60 per Gallon in San Diego.

Ain't live grand when we have "Oil Men" running the country?

I'm sure mine is going to be one of the lowest (but, the price has gone up $0.30 a gallon in the last month, so it still hurts), but here in the Atlanta Metro area, we're at about $2.00 per gallon, and rising FAST.

46. it was only at a few places -- near work it's now $2.16. But since people
willingly pay a buck for a 20oz bottle of water, (or 4 buscks for a coffee), I don't think it's such a big deal. Though I know I'm wrong, part of me thinks it's a scare tactic to get everyone to "buy in" to the Alaska willife refusge drilling... wouldn't hurt if our government supported development of alternative forms of energy though...

70. I'm not sure -- not around here yet, but maybe things will be different
in the morning -- on the pubic radio station they keep playing a small report that this upswing in price is not tied to amount of gas, but is driven by investors who *think* something is going to happen to the supply.

9. We're almost there
here in south Jersey. It's up to $1.92. I figure by the middle of the summer, when gas is supposed to reach it's highest, the slaves of this nation will be forced to shell out anywhere from $2.65 to $3.50 per gallon.

And all the while the BFEE keep getting richer off our hard earned money. Asshole!

It's hard to believe that a "Big empty Red State" has higher Gas prices than N.J.

Atlanta sits at the junction of several Petroleum Pipelines (which is why our prices tend to be low), is N.J. ALL Oil refineries to get prices like that?:wow:

11. Queensland, Australia
$A 1.10 per litre, and that's fairly cheap for Aus.

1 US Gallon = 3.78 litres

1 US Gallon = $A 4.158

$A 1.00 = $US 0.79 (approx)

so I make it around %US 5.26 per Gallon.

But, check out these prices from 2001, it'll make you wanna cry.

I think. And I was living in a different state (of the nation) at the time so it would have been a little different.

I think it would be safe to say it has gone up in the order of 25% though.

If an Aussie dollar is equal to 79 US cents, then you should multiply the Aussie price by 0.79 to get the equivalent US dollar price. By your figures, the US equivalent price should actually be about US$3.28/gallon :hi:

17. Average in San Diego County is around $2.38 (9)- and rising every day -
But I can still usually find it at Costco or the various military bases for around $2.25(9) - or that was the cost this afternoon. Shoulda filled up; they're probably going to be heading towards $2.27(9) by tomorrow morning.

I've seen it as high as $2.62(9) for regular unleaded self serve in the past three days - I suppose that's where your report came from. I've also seen some full service premium dangling right below the $3 mark.

Always remember - advertised prices are for 9/10ths of a gallon; so after 10 gallons, just add another increment of the cost.

Why do they still do that? To cover spillage?

Haele

Other dealers are furious about this offer. And there are lines at peak times at Getgo.
