this is where i am going to publish. i have researched for Y-E-A-R-S, and this is the best deal around. a friend has published a book here, and another does a series of calenders and poetry books.

4. Glad to see some validation and some creative DUers

who are already onto this. I'm frankly thrilled about it, despite the fact that I have zero interest in it for myself (at the moment, at least -- who knows what the future brings?). It just looks terrific to me. Imagine!

At any rate, I found it because of a self-published VERY interesting book of Civil War era knit and crochet patterns, historically correct. I can't imagine why publishers turned her down, the patterns are fabulous (if a little, um, "dated") with full instructions -- but she's published herself now and I hope to buy a copy at some point. Dynamite stuff.
