check this out...DUers forced MSM to pay attention to Pro-Peace events
Edited on Mon Mar-21-05 12:13 AM by diamond14

keep kicking our BIG STORIES and PHOTOS covering the Pro-Peace rallies, Vigils, and events all across America and the World....as the tired MSM reporters search around DU for something to report for their Monday morning news reports (for a lot of this...they could LOOK OUT THEIR STUDIO windows in DC, NYC, and LA and take a PICTURE of Pro-Peace events)....

see...it's good coverage of Sunday's Pro-Peace events, which is actually, the 5th day of events....(not the second....the vigils and Pro-Peace activism started last WEDNESDAY....

our stories were collected by AP, went to ABC....

1. I don't see how you made the connection that AP got its story from DU
I was at the Boston rally and read the media sign-in list. "MICHAEL KUNZELMAN, Associated Press Writer" was there in person.

2. because there's a LOT of other Pro-Peace stories in that article
Edited on Mon Mar-21-05 01:19 AM by diamond14
from all across America...

Philly, Amherst, Mass., Indianapolis, Reno, Nev., Asheville, N.C., Las Vegas....and BOSTON....

and ALL of them can be found right here on DU tonight....AND in at least three places, he said "rallies" instead of PROTESTS, which is a slight improvement as DUers are trying to off-load the reTHUGlicans negative words they stuck on us....

he didn't write just about Boston....he caught the BIG PICTURE off DU and our efforts to keep these stories up on top....

AND....he may well have found out about the SUNDAY Boston Pro-Peace rally, because DUers posted it here on several spots...most MSM thought that the "PROTESTS" were done and over on Saturday....DUers put the word out that the Pro-Peace events were NOT OVER and the Sunday was another BIG DAY....in fact...Pro-Peace events have been going on all across America since last WEDNESDAY, and no MSM even noticed....

Thursday March 17th, in front of the White House...AP and other MSM couldn't miss this...it was right in front of them and their DC offices AND the entire White House press corps right there...not a peep out of MSM...no coverage at all....

.

.

.

BONUS POINTS, every single 'military recruitment office' in the Metro DC area was PLASTERED...how could MSM miss this?

3. DU and the Net now ...
does the job for the Lamestream Media.

I have been boycotting any TV News for a few months. It gets me too aggrevated.

6. Sorry, your logic is faulty.

1. AP has reporters in every major (and many minor) market(s).
2. DU is not the only forum.
3. Where in the AP story does the author cite DU? Or did you get this info first hand from the reporter?
