Well, I have become educated tonight. I did not realize until
this past week what good Christians we have in the Congress in the Republican Party. After all, Bush invokes the name of Christ in everything he does, and it has worked out well for him.

So it seems to me that the rest of the Republicans are using the Christian Religion, just like the Taliban used the Muslim Religion, which is the majority religion, against the people.

Of course, the Republicans have the Majority Party. The Majority Party has suddenly become preachers on the floor of congress and their remarks are in the Congressional Record. Every one of them start out like they are the only ones who know how to pray or quot scripture.

Why does that bother me? Because it is HYPOCRISY, Christ despised the hypocrites. These people are taking this poor woman's situation, and the parent's wishes over the husband's, to over rule 19 separate judges, who had physicians that had seen her, testify that she could never come out of this vegetative state, and the courts ruled that she should be allowed to die.

I am a Democrat, but I do not feel the need to use God, the Bible, or a Christian Holiday to get a Bill passed, no one should. Religion and politics should be kept separate and I am tired of these right-wing idiots shoving it down my throat. This constant comment that if the Dem's do not do what the right wants, they will continue to lose election after election.

So if you right-wing-idiots out there want a one-party system, then let us know when the official burning of the Constitution, Bill of Rights, and Declaration of Independence is scheduled.

Also, make it mandatory that 10% of everyone's income (gross or net is confusing)is taken by the Government for faith-based initiatives. That way you all will know that all of the people left in this country have paid their tithes. Of course, this would start after mandatory church attendance.

During the joke of an election of 2000, we were told over and over and over by the right that "This Country is a Country of laws." They just forgot to let us in on the fact that if they don't like the laws, they will change the rules to change the laws and not go by the Constitution. Laws are laws. Emotions are emotions. Can a judge make a ruling on how he "feels" or is the judge suppose to follow the rule of law? So, does the Congress pass laws for individuals OR for the country as a whole? Do they base their decisions on their feelings and religious beliefs?

Well, now our Congress is taking this country down a scary road. The fall of the Roman Empire came about when the Congress became corrupted and changed the rules of their laws to change the rules. It was not long after that, that the Roman Empire was no more.

No human being has the right to play God, Only the Congress of the United States can do this now. That is, the Republicans have now decided that they can play God as far as life and death is concerned.

It is really scary to think how this can be abused. Just like the right has continued and are continuing to abuse and use the Christian Religion and the people in this country's religious reliefs. They have figured out a way to stay in perpetual power.

UNTIL a small little man from Wisconsin (but pretends he is from Texas), who is a dry drunk; however, he has asked for forgiveness and his religion is important to him. That is to be respected. However, I do not need to hear him invoke the name of Christ every time he wants something changed. He uses the Christian Religion to threaten those in the Democratic Party as well as other Nations.

I'm tired, disgusted, and literally sick of the BS I see on this screen.

1. You know what's really scary?
Is that from this issue, I can see a lot of false prophets rising up. You have a lot of people now claiming to do things in the name of the Lord (i.e. the Republicans).

Now, I never want to pretend to know what the Lord is thinking, because the Bible tells us that His thoughts are not our thoughts.

But I am almost certain that the Lord is not pleased with a lot of the actions of the Republican Party lately. They are treading on very dangerous waters, and they need to be very careful before they go out here pretending to do the will of the Lord.

4. Do you mean Senselessbrenner?
He's in WI. We've been trying to get rid of him for years.

You don't suppose Connecticut would take him off our hands, do ya?

6. Yes. I have no Idea why I put "Wisconsin" I guess because I'm
listening to the these politicians being so suddenly sanctimonious in knowing what is best for one person they have never met.

The accusations they are making against her husband, are only what I have heard her mother and father and brother say. There is nothing (as far as I've heard) to back up these accusations.

I hope he can sue everyone of their buttocks off for defamation.

Has everyone noticed that her mother, father, and brother are the only ones that have continuously talked to the media? I only saw her husband once stating that Congress should stay out of it.

Thanks for the correction.
