I know why Terri Schviao
It's clear to me now after this whole week. It's all about her location. Some of you could be going "well duh" right now but I don't know why I didn't think of this before. It came to me when I was drying my hair earlier (nice time to think). Think about it. Jeb Bush is governor of her home state where she is located. I remember reading in another thread that a sixty-eight year old man is going through the same thing in Texas. Why not him instead? Since that is DeLay's home. Someone in the Bush camp (my guess? Karl Rove) had this idea to play the sympathetic "compassionate conservative" role. It will help them more then one way. It will help people keep their minds off of what's happening with DeLay in Texas (that's why they're not helping the Texas man I bet) and can help Jeb Bush out in 2008. Earlier this year people had been asking Jeb if he was running and of course he said "no." I believe any poltician like I'd believe someone who told me the sky was naturally green. I don't care if they're republican or democratic. Anyways. Jeb at first did the right thing by leaving this case up to the state. The freepers started rallying behind Mrs. Schivo and then whoever came up with the plan saw the effects it was having on people. That's when dear old Tom DeLay and Bill Frist came in to the story. Of course Frist claims to be a doctor (even though he thinks you can get AIDS through sweat and tears) so what better person to side with you? And of course comes trotting along dear old Jeb. I am now convienced he is going to run in 2008. Rice running is just a diversion from the real people. They are trying to do pull a fast one on us by thinking that Rice will run for president. It's strange how they're talking about 2008 like it's next year. So that's just what I think with the whole Schviao thing. It's all about her location.

1. Jeb is proving to the Fundies that he is a REAL Conservative
and deserving of their backing for the presidency.

2. Gov Bush Did Intervene
In October 2003, the Florida legislature passed "Terri's Law" which allowed the governor to order the feedign tube re-inserted.

In September 2004, the Florida (State) Supreme Court struck down the law as unconstitutional (violating separation of powers) in a 7-0 decision.

4. It is
That's why I was asking myself that earlier "why her?" What makes her so special? And then it hit me. Also Jeb is apart of PNAC....

5. It makes perfect sense
They saw another opportunity to appeal to their base and using this poor woman as a stepping stone to the presidency shows how low they will sink to get their way.

The bush men are terrorists. I've never felt that way until now.

6. There's another possible reason. . .
Terri Schiavo's gender. The general public tends to have more sympathy for a woman than a man.
