1. A lot if they get their legislation passed on this

It diminishes right to privacy which Roe was premised on to exclude our bodies in certain cases.

If I were to become terminally ill, I shudder at the thought that the State could take control over my body and force me to receive medical treatments for however long they deemed. Or take whatever treatments they deemed.

Chipping away at Right to Privacy has a lot of implications for abortion, forced medical treatments, and euthanasia.

2. It means politicians can play doctor and violate your rights
Want to refuse medicine that may help you live? Tough shit. Life is precious... and god... and the bible...

Want to refuse medical treatment in the chance that you have an accident and are hooked up to a machine for fifteen years while your brain rots away and you effectively become the living dead? Tough shit. Life is precious... and god... and the bible...

Want to have an abortion for any number of personal reasons? Tough shit. Life is precious... and god... and the bible...

Life begins at conception and ends when your heart stops. Anything that causes you to die inbetween is murder, no matter how much your quality of life suffers.

You see, it's more humane to torture someone for years before they die than to let them die quickly.
