4. actually, he can probably do the least harm there
i'd certainly rather see him unemployed, but given that that's not gonna happen as long as shrub's in office, better at the world bank than, say, the defense department or nsa or cia,....

19. I am right there with you on this one!! Scheduling
this BS "press conference" at 10:15 is NOT A COINCIDENCE! They must really think we are clueless.

As for Wolfowitz...I still can't lose that disturbing image of him on MM's 911 sucking on his little black comb. Yuk! Was that gross, or what? BLEEEEECCHHH!

Peace.

World Bank: Wolfowitz Not in Running
Thursday March 3, 6:42 am ET
By Raf Casert, Associated Press Writer
World Bank Chief Says Paul Wolfowitz Is Not in Running for His Job

BRUSSELS, Belgium (AP) -- World Bank President James Wolfensohn said Thursday that U.S. Deputy Defense Secretary Paul Wolfowitz was no longer in the running to head the Washington-based international financial institution.
"Mr. Wolfowitz is no longer part of the exercise," Wolfensohn said after meeting with European Commission President Jose Manuel Barroso.

"He is not in the game. So far as I know because he has withdrawn his name," he said.

13. Ironic, ain't it?
<snip>
Wolfensohn did set out clear requirements for a successful candidate.

"I would like to see my successor be passionate on the question of poverty and on the question of human development," he said, major areas where the bank is active.

"It is very important that anyone who comes into this job must care about the human aspects of poverty and the human aspects of development," he said.

9. and then he is going to talk about how great he has done in the MidEast
This guy is taking credit for changing the Middle East into a hot bed of democracy. I give up. There is no one in the media with any balls anymore. Thousands have been slaughtered under his watch and this administration did nothing in Israel and Lebanon.Believe me. He will get the Nobel Peace Prize.

16. And...Bush put his foot in the shit bucket with this, I sense
A Great Knowing Gnawing Trembling Comes Upon Me as I consider this. I got a feeling the BushCo & Halliburton Corporate Oil Cronies Corp. will DEEPLY REGRET this boner.

Why, it strikes me that this will ultimately be remembered as a Massive International Boner (MIB).

Edited on Wed Mar-16-05 10:27 AM by higher class
his decision to make in total.

All you image people should post the comb licking scene now!

Just in case anyone hasn't seen it.

Why have a PNAC planner, author, executor for a World Bank Chairman?

The U.S. got stuck with these pnacers, why does the world have to be taken down by them?

Wolfkowitz, Rumsfeld, Zakheim and all their minions should have on mission - to find and return the missing DOD billions.

26. Maybe This Is A Good Thing
Now the entire world will be watching him and maybe, just maybe, as they are not in any sense enamored with ***H, they will kick Wolfowitz's ass. Also, by accepting this appointment. perhaps W will fly too close to the sun.
