Dear Editor,

TODAY'S EDITORIALS
And Now, the Counterfeit News
News organizations deceive the public when they pass off
segments produced by the White House's public relations
machine as real news.

Referring to you above Editorial of today, taking the mote of other people's eyes seems to be a speciality of The New York Times.

What the public want to know is the degree of complicity of YOUR ORGANISATION in this counterfeiting of news - or are you claiming that you were NOT involved? And let us not have it on the bottom of the last column on page 127!!

[Nothing Without Hope]

1. Too true! The Times used to have a fine reputation, but they sold it.

Absolutely shameful, what the editors of the Times have done and the hypocrisy about it. Their star reporter Judith Miller stovepiped propaganda and Chalabi lies and played a significant role in promoting the invasion of Iraq as self-defense from WMDs. And she's just one example of what has become a dangerous mockery of the journalism they claim to epitomize.



On a lighter note, it really stretches my imagination to imagine you in Finland, far away over the curve of the Atlantic Ocean. (I'm on the East Coast of the US near Boston.) Whether you are a citizen of the US or Finland, it's good to "see" you here.
