Irish Murder Victim's Family seeks help from Chimpy????
The family of IRA murder victim Robert McCartney today dismissed Sinn Féin's warning that they are in danger of being used as political pawns.

Catherine McCartney, who left Dublin this morning with her four sisters and Mr McCartney's financee for a meeting later this week with US President George Bush, responded to the warning by saying that they were not stupid.

Ms McCartney also revealed that she and her sisters, Paula, Gemma, Claire and Donna, as well as her brother's partner Bridgeen Hagans, would present President Bush with a dossier on their brother's killing, which happened outside a Belfast pub on January 30.

Has the asshole-in-chief become so world renowned for fighting terror that now the family of an alledged IRA murder victim look to him for justice??? Certainly it's proper to sympathize with their loss and to seek justice for those responsible, but Chimpy? Jesus Christ. I'd have to guess that he couldn't care less.
Do you think ChimpCo. set this up? Seems plausible to me. With this admin's track record, nothing is beneath them. I have to agree with Sinn Fein on this one.

1. No.
There is zero chance that the administration played any role in the original incident. However, they are opportunists, who are taking advantage of the victim's sisters' pain. A few IRA made a brutal error, and some of the locals "covered" for them. Sinn Fein is correct that it is a problem that needs to be addressed locally.

2. Sorry. Didn't clearly express my point.
I didn't intend to indict Chimpco for the murder. Seems plausible that Rove etal. paid their airfare and then some to exploit the situation just as Sinn Fein stated.

4. George is still smarting
from the reporter who humiliated him last summer by asking tough questions. The administration tried to get her fired after the incident. Dang, bein' president is hard work.
