Jail/prison is too easy for guys like him. In jail he will still get better treatment than most prisoners..he will have access to lawyers for endless appeals..write books, and gradually "rehabilitate" himself, until some glitch will surface and he'll get early release (or maybe a pardon from an exiting *²..

A more fitting punishment would be to force liquidation of ALL family assets..(these guys' accountants have "protected" that stolen money via trusts and property in family members' names)..

After the assets are sold, they shoudl all be given to the people he defrauded.

The family should relinquish their passports so they cannot "join the money" in the Caymans..

Bernie should be sent to live in "Al Estates"...Ardmore, OK ...Paducah, KY..Abeline, KS, Moline, IL.. any "ordinary" town..
Get his a bus-pass and put that guy to work in a nursing home..warehouse..walmart..kmart..Payless shoes..

Make him wear an ankle bracelet...live on minimum wages with NO medical benefits..

Prison only makes these guys feel like martyrs..

I would rather see them work like dogs and scramble for every crumb...like the rest of us do :)

If his wife & kiddies enjoy that kind of lifestyle, they could even live with him :)

is a more fitting punishment for those who steal from the public. Actually putting him in "stocks" on a village green for a month so we could throw rotten Guatemalan produce at him would be TOO GOOD.

Make him work on a "Chain Gang" repairing roads in 100 degree heat in SC and Georgia, make him unload Chinese Products that are sitting offshore because the Chinese can produce faster than we can unload. Let him toat that barge and and lift that bale....so he gets in touch with what "average Americans" have to go through to live..or folks all over the globe.

I want to see all the damned Corporate Crooks being forced to do HARD TIME. NOT MARTHA. Her flaw was NOT these people. She didn't steal from me unless I bought her towels that ran in the washing machine and bled into the rest of my laundry.
