for using hate speech against Gays at a Gay rally. There ARE limits on freedom of speech. Hate crime laws vary state to state but inciting violence is a federal limit on freedom of speech.

20. As much as I appreciate the humor of the phrase "God Hates Phelps,"

I find it somewhat perverted. I am an atheist but having been a fundamentalist evangelical Christian for my first thirty years or so, I know that the teaching of Christians is that God hates no one.

If any of the Bible can be believed as at least a historical record, Christ's teaching shows this well enough to prove that Phelps is wrong, and "God hates Phelps" is wrong, too.

Apparently they don't read their own bible. God doesn't hate PEOPLE. He hates the ACTIONS of those people. God doesn't strike down sinners.
