WTF is this????

On the Rense.com website, they feature daily pictures on the front page, which usually lampoons the neocon agenda or emphasizes their political points (some I like such as the ills of the Iraq War; some I don't like such as the fanatical anti-immigrant stances). However, I'm at a loss to figure out the message of this political picture of the day.

1. Some people think raciscm is funny
Edited on Mon Mar-14-05 08:18 PM by Book Lover
And others think that this is just a cute picture of a kid and little puppies...

on edit: I wasn't clear - I think rense.com is saying something like, "Gee, she's a cute kid, but look, that dog-eating gene can't be stopped!"

3. Personally, I think Bush or Cheney eating a puppy would have been funnier.

4. Fanatical put's it mildly. "At a loss." Now I can handle those words.
You tell me and we'll both know. Sick puppies, maybe?

11. If it's a political statement, that one may work but
it's really too subtle and vague for Rense who is accustomed to blunt, bold and undeniably clear visuals. Also, I've not seen antiChinese propaganda on that website. Now if it was a Mexican baby with all-american puppies or whatever, that would be consistent with Rense's mofo.

9. Bizarre...of course the far eastern cultures have a completely...
...different perspective regarding animals and pets, do they not? On the other hand, in Texas, they would be just teaching children at an early age canine ear exercises (reflecting on Lyndon B Johnson's picture of him pulling his beagle's ears on the White House lawn back in 1965).

12. Runny nose, shiny clothes, a willing ear, have no fear,
my boogers will be, on his ear you see,

no fuss, no muss,

don't cuss, it's a plus,

clean fur, I must demur,

is willing and able,

at least you're not on the table,

you lovable pet, at least not yet.

And then there's the one about the bear and the rabbit. It seems this rabbit happens upon a bear who is doing his business in the woods... and the bear turns around and asks the rabbit, "hey, do you have trouble with poo sticking to your fur?" and the rabbit replies "hell no, not ever", so the bear picks up the rabbit and the rest is well you know... "history". :)

13. personally, I like the picture. it's cute to me, that is typically what
a kid would do. I didn't think of the racism angle until it was brought up. sad.
