Went to see Lewis Black...
in Dayton, Ohio tonight and I was stopped by security. They asked to read my T-shirt...it read "W is wrong for Indiana and wrong for America." I asked the guy if he just wanted to look at my boobs...he replied that the lettering was too small...???:wtf: Anyway, Lewis signed my shirt after the show...he was AWESOME!!!

1. omg, I'm so jealous!!
I just finished reading the NYTimes magazine article about him- he's apparently a really brilliant guy who is also a very prolific playwright in addition to being the funniest man in America.
JEALOUS!!!

2. Yes. He IS AWESOME!!! I just saw him in California a month or so ago...
Apparently he had some really bad hecklers the other night. They were real assholes and screamed some below the belt things to Black. Understand they screwed it up for everybody...that's probably why there was security. I bet he's PISSED about it...don't blame him, really.

Peace!

3. did Black tear them a new one?
Come on, Lewis is the verbal equivalent of a pack of jackals bred with piranhas- I'm sure he had fun with them!

4. Actually, from what I understand...NO! Apparently he was quite shaken...
Screamed things at him about his failed marraige-really shitty BS!! Think it caught him offguard. Got pretty personal...and apparently the manager of the forum and the ushers did nothing to stop it! Bad scene...really sad! The poster (here at DU a few days back) said she was sure that he concluded his performance early because of it! What a bunch of ugly, evil little cowards...got up and left right before the lights came on. Someone should have followed them out and beat the crap outta those punks!!!

Peace!

5. aw shit
That sucks. Those fuckers!
Apparently in the article, Black is actually a very sensitive, non-angry guy off stage...so I guess this makes sense. I just wish he destroyed them, because you know he could have =(

6. Totally! I heard him on Randi Rhodes a few months back and he
really isn't completely like his stage persona. Not the ranter that we know and love. He's kind of subdued...a real thinker! I think what those Fuckwads said really got to him and hit him hard! I hope that they rot in hell! Evil, mean, vicious little bastards...:spank: Hey maybe we've got some room for the pricks at Gitmo...
