3. Despite Newt and Trent
The republican takeover started in 1994. Clinton, for all the good he did, was an obstacle they had to eliminate

5. Our downhill slide began in 95 when they took over the Congress
and the TV an radio and newspapers and the scotus. WJC managed to hold off the worst of it for six years, but the deterioration started when GIngrinch took over.

9. As we now know, The GOP pays
journalists to spread their lies and propanganda. My suspicion is that this has been going on for more than 10 years. When you add that to the fact that they have ruined the schools to the point where Americans are by far the most ignorant of any industrialized citizens, and you have a foolproof method for brainwashing. As the survey showed, FOX News viewers THINK they know alot about issues, but in fact are bone-ignorant.

11. Sadly, our people have souls
and have limits to how low they will scrounge. The GOP is unencumbered by any morality or conscience. Bush and Delay are two of the most evil men you are likely to run across.

2. Or "Welcome to the USSA", as one thread last night was titled on DU
Thanks for posting. I've been thinking about this for awhile - we have become what we used to say we were against.
