Each day we will start a new thread summarizing the next day's segments, annotated with useful information, such as

* How to reach CSPAN Journal
* Guest / affiliation backgrounds

Mission statement -
1. To monitor the next day’s CSPAN JOURNAL scheduled guests in order to prepare background information and talking points for group members in general and all other interested DU’ers who want to support friends and counter the opposition.
2. Alert DU members to the appearance of friends and opponents.
3. Educate DU members how to reach CSPAN Journal by email and phone.
4. Discuss and suggest future guests.
5. Suggest CSPAN coveraqge of future events.
6. Alert DU to other CSPAN broadcasts.

We hope this is a useful service to DU'ers!

I can hardly stand to watch the Washington Journal anymore. It has gotten so right-wing.

(Correction, since the last fiasco of an election and the debut of Air America I really don't want to watch the journal anymore. I prefer the saner discourse of Air America. That's sad because I used to love the journal)
