I need a list of all Liberal groups
I am looking for a list of all the groups that are Liberal or claim that they are Liberal. I need large groups such as the ACLU, so I would appreciate it if someone could do this.

2. My goal for this
I want to create a system to help Liberals which groups to decide which groups they want to support.

Using DU, I want to see which groups are either good to support, bad to support, or it is not known but has potential.

3. Why not let us decide for ourselves?
There are some "liberal" groups that I have little or no respect for; I also think there is some value in a couple of conservative ones.

My liberalism comes from my convictions, not from a need for social identity.

5. Good response.
I couldn't have said it better.

Attaching labels like liberal, conservative, progressive to groups comprised of thousands of people makes no sense. I have yet to find a group that speaks for me 100 percent. I think we need to be careful not to slip into the mindset of "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" mentality that is destroying this country and the world today.

There is no "us" vs "them" politically, socially or globally. Only psychologically does it exist and leaves a group vulnerable to division. Another important point to consider is that all groups have been infiltrated by those from the other side in order to minimize them. Blind loyalty leads to disaster as we have witnessed throughout history.

Small groups are better in my opinion, since historically they have made the most positive changes in society.

4. No offense but, in this age of Google, can't you do this yourself?
I don't understand these posts that ask us to research stuff for them.

That's the kind of stuff that freepers do about us, so why should we do their "work" for them to see?
