Read JFK's inuagural speech today...
"If a free society cannot help the many who are poor, it cannot save the few who are rich." What a powerful statement. Most people only remember the "country" line but I think this line is more important.

1. How far we've fallen since that day --
thanks for recalling that great line, dorktv.

2. I posted the line in another website and
the only response I have gotten is "Kennedy stole all his best lines"

3. Well, he had a good speechwriter, but no thing on his back
like W telling him what to say. And he could pronounce "nuclear".

I hope his soul is resting in peace. Truly a great line. That and the country line are my favorites.

5. Gotta be my all-time favorite speech. Best line:
"Let the word go forth, from this time and place, to friend and foe alike, that the torch has been passed to a new generation of Americans." Gets me every time!

6. I gave that in my speech class today.
It's so impressive. I can't get over how well written it is.
