Think About This: Whenever You Buy a Tank of Saudi Arabian Gas, You are Helping to Finance Terrorism.

Regular BuzzFlash readers know that we have regularly run articles, commentaries and editorials arguing that, in part, the invasion of Iraq was a Bush administration effort to divert attention from the primary financiers of terrorism -- and the source of much of the al-Qaeda leadership -- Saudi Arabia. Of course, there were other motivating factors for the Bush military action against Iraq, which we have detailed (see, as examples, The Perfect War and Endgame ).

But a recent poll indicates that the American public still believes Iraq was behind 9/11, even though bin Laden received Saudi, not Iraq financing, and 15 of the 19 hijackers were Saudis. The Bush administration kept -- and keeps -- insinuating that Iraq was involved deeply in 9/11, while trying to sweep under the carpet much, much stronger indications of key Saudi involvement in the financing, strategy and implementation of 9/11. As a result, they have successfully misled Americans about who was really responsible for 9/11.

4. No, no, no

Even though some Saudi oil profits are used to fund terrorism, it is not oil that funds terrorism. It is drugs, because, um, let me see. I'm sure that there is some reason why buying drugs supports terrorism. Can someone help me here?

they can. It is official policy that drug use supports terrorism. All who deny this are terrorists. All terrorists are to be executed.

Buying Saudi oil does not support terrorism. Those who say other wise are terrorists. All terrorists are to be executed.

All those accused of terrorism report to level six for execution. Failing to report for execution is against official policy. Being against official policy is terrorism.

7. I thought of that when I saw those anti drug ads

Drugs usually do not support terrorism more than any other industry. Saudi oil does support terrorism though. There is no doubt about that.

...presidency* has NEVER called for conservation? These Oil CEO's want you to use fossil fuels without restraint.

- And they certainly don't want you to 'get' the connection between terrorism and the Saudi Friends of Bush.

9. Exactly correct

I got a mass email many months ago stating how we should buy gas only from companies that do not import from the middle east. It is really just ridiculous, it is a world market for oil. A purchased gallon of canadian or venezuelian gas drives up the world's price of oil just as much as a saudi gallon. If you don't buy it here, they will sell it elsewhere and make the same profit. The only way to cut down saudi oil profits is to decrease overall world demand.
