Bill Clinton Surgery Update Thread.
Bill Clinton Enters Hospital for Surgery (NT Times)

Former President Bill Clinton entered a New York City hospital early this morning for surgery to remove a buildup of fluid and scar tissue from his chest some six months after he underwent a quadruple heart-bypass operation.

The procedure, described by doctors as low-risk and one that occurs in fewer than 1 percent of coronary bypass patients, will take about two hours. It will require a general anesthetic.

Mr. Clinton, 58, is expected to be hospitalized for 3 to 10 days at New York-Presbyterian/Columbia University Medical Center, where his initial surgery was carried out in September. Mr. Clinton's wife, Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton of New York, has said she will be in Manhattan for the surgery and is "very confident about the outcome."

5. We need and miss you,
Mr. Pres.

Notice you didn't choose New York Hospital. Smart choice. Just a little local humor to cheer you up.

Get well soon.
