I'm slipping away...
Bush is taking credit for democracy in the Middle East while so many bodies are piling up. Supervisors in Abuse scandal are let off. Cheney plans to use the nuclear option to squash opposition to far-right judges. Our tax dollars go to Bush's nonsensical SS reform propaganda, while Bush says he will not leave our problems to future presidents, even though he had run the greatest deficit in civilization, and he wants to cut more rich people's taxes.

I'm slipping away, like I'm losing a voice, my outrage is overwhelmed...

And now Michael Jackson faces arrest and a $3M bail forfeiture if he doesn't arrive to court in the next five minutes???

Help me from getting sucked back into the Matrix!! People! Slap some sense and anger back into me....

;(

6. Is there any way to count the words of trite reporting and compare
it the cents on the dollar for the cost of this war?

Illusion, delusion, unreality. The movie camera is on us. The book of history is being written now. It is all a rotten plot and plan of destruction targeted at us.

7. Okay... this is what to do
I know this, it is called the 2+2=5 syndrome and it can be very severe. You must stop watching, reading, discussing all current events, news, etc., for 48 hours. You must rent silly movies with silly people in them to watch over and over. You must eat your fave treats until you are bloated beyond imagination, and above all, you must sleep, get some fresh air, and read something interesting. Do this for 48 hours and 2+2 will equal 4 again:) works for me.

8. THANK YOU...this is what I was looking for.
So the outrage seems new when I come back, right? Like a vacation into insulation. Thanks! I'll go work on my math.

9. Sorry, TOOLZ, but you're a victim of nostalgia
You were actually expecting NEWS from what is (deceptively) labeled "News" on TV today. There is no more news on TV today, it is a thing of the past. What was then News is now INFOTAINMENT. It makes money for the broadcasting corporations by providing titilation and entertainment for the masses, who don't want to think about what is REALLY going on around them. You want news? I got your news right here:
