Challenge to poor Republicans in Texas
Texas is currently proposing to raise taxes on the poor and middle class to raise enough money to cut taxes on those making over $100,000 a year. As someone who falls in that category, I am making the following challenge to all my fellow Republican Texans in the lower tax brackets:

I have gotten quite a few tax cuts under the current Republican regime, but the democratic process is still a little slow, and I (and therefore the country) could always use a little more. Why give Democrats another opportunity to accuse you of sucking up to the rich when you can cut down on government overhead by contributing directly to me?

Living hand-to-mouth as you do, you'd probably just run off with any tax break you receive and buy a TV or something, whereas I on the otherhand have plenty of money to spare and will invest your money in economy fueling, profit-making ventures. I, in turn, will do my part by creating more jobs so that you can eventually come to work for me.

So, I am starting an Invest in America's Future campaign that allows conservative voters to have a direct and positive effect on their economy. Put your money where your mouth is! Let's put trickle-down to the test!

Contribute to me today, get a job tomorrow! After all, Reagan couldn't possibly have been wrong.

1. You must be a libertarian
You are cutting the government out of the loop entirely, and relying on voluntary contributions to transfer money from the poor to the affluent.

What an incredible idea!

Now you will have to excuse me, I have a heart-breaking email from a former Nigerian official that I must attend to. Poor guy had to flee his country and needs some help transfering funds.....
