Bush has mandate for Social Security plan from the BIG DICK

Warning this may make you ill

WASHINGTON - (KRT) - In an interview Tuesday, Vice President Dick Cheney said the Bush re-election victory provided a mandate "for the notion of personal retirement accounts" and that Democrats would pay a political price among younger voters if they blocked them.

4. Terrible, but funny...
... since all Republicans hid from the words "Social Security" for the last eight months of the campaign, including Messrs. Bush and Cheney. So, how exactly is the election a mandate for something that was never discussed in even the slightest detail during that campaign?

In fact, there is no Social Security plan right now. What's being discussed are talking points only as leaked by the Bushies. The administration has yet to provide an actual bill for Congress to debate.

It's hard to imagine the degree of insulation from the public that exists in the White House today in combination with the extent of their faith in BS.

90% of respondants said no to private accounts, before the poll got removed...
