13. The Vietnam war was not a war of conquest, but one to free the South
Vietnamese people from the scourge and clutches of godless communism. It's a shame millions of Vietnamese had to die/be maimed and the countryside laid to waste by our dropping more tonnage of bombs than was dropped in Europe (if my recollection is correct) during WWII, not to mention Agent Orange, nor our losing 60,000+ of our own troops, including a first cousin of mine, but these too were but small prices we were willing to pay to keep those commie bastards in the north, albeit unsucessfully.
