1. Are they interviewing bloggers or just
going over all the stories the blogs broke?

5. They showed many, but spent most of the time on Maura.
They were very fair on it. I was pleasantly surprised. She was blogging at the DFA blog when he interviewed her.
She does the Democracy for Virginia website. Here is a pic they showed.

2. yeah, it was pretty good. They're basically showing the power the
have when they can "link up" via the Internet. It is definitely the new way to report and spread news. The Networks must be having daily meetings on how the Hell they're going to keep up with this new medium.

I can't help but think about how much Rove must hate all this. You know he's got teams of laywers working on ways to try and control all of this.

BTW, Nightline reported that it was a blogger who broke the Rather story. Showed a quick clip of someone analyzing the memos. Does anyone know who that blogger was?

4. They did a good job about Maura and Cosgrove.
Here is one of the pics they showed on the show. It was fundraiser for Kim Hynes, and Dean took time to visit with Maura's dad.. I was reading about it on the blog.

"For those of you who watched ABC's Nightline tonight and are visiting the Democracy for Virginia Web site for the first time, welcome! We invite you to join us!

Democracy for Virginia is a grassroots organization of Virginians who are interested in revitalizing progressive civic action in Virginia. We work together to promote increased public participation in community, politics, and government. Many of us first met each other during the Dean campaign in Virginia in 2003 and 2004 (which explains the picture of Howard Dean from a 2003 rally in Virginia on our front page), but our group has now grown to include hundreds of other Virginians who are interested in working together to improve our communities and our Commonwealth. Though most DFV supporters are progressive Democrats, our group includes Greens, Independents, and even moderate Republicans who support increased civic participation and socially progressive, fiscally responsible candidates for public office. You can read about some of our activities during the past year here."
